Entitled woman encroaches on seatmate's personal space during flight, seatmate gets petty when she loses her purse: 'Not my job to help nasty entitled individuals'

Whoever is seated next to you on a flight can really make or break the entire experience. 

I am sure I am not the only person who has ever boarded a flight and, for a brief but perfect moment, thought the adjacent seat might remain empty. I would get more and more hopeful as the last few boarding groups walked past my row, or (in a more likely scenario) sat down in the rows before mine. Just when it seems like boarding is over, I'd text my friends that I'm going to have the best flight ever. Right when I'd send that text is when my seatmate finally boards the plane. Yes, they're probably obnoxious and entitled too.

  • Finally, it got to the point that the author couldn't handle feeling invisible anymore and confronted the woman just before the plane descended. The lady, of course, acted like it was the author who was being difficult, so when they de-planed and the lady seemed to forget her purse, the author had no intention of helping her out. Good riddance!
